We write, we podcast, we broadcast, we produce, we sing, we create collaborative art onstage and onscreen — and, we reimagine family life as platonic co-parents to our son. All of these things contribute to our central vision, where direct, human connection is at the center; a vision that eschews the outmoded social roles that hold us back from fully embracing those we want to hold closest.

This weekly dispatch explores the power and possibility of intimate friendship in cultivating community, raising family, and making art.

But what, specifically, will I actually get?

That’s a perceptive question. We knew we liked you.

This newsletter is the hive and the hub for all that we do — and we do a lot. Some may call us dilettantes or hummingbirds (and let’s give ‘em something to talk about, babe).

We’ll share our own perspectives on building community and nontraditional family, absolutely. But perhaps even more so, you’ll get a taste of our screenwriting, our music-making, our podcasting, and our conversations with people we admire. We have great taste, ask anyone.
